Massachusetts Adult Soccer

Five women from the Eastern Mass Women's Soccer League headed to Reykjavik, Iceland in the middle of November.  Once there, they partnered with a local goalkeeper to win the over 22 age bracket of the Würth Football and Fun Tournament.  Not only did the Boston Express team bring home a trophy, but they enjoyed wonderful local food, dancing, and meeting many more international players. This small-sided tournament brings competition from many European countries as well as the Caribbean and even further afield. The team departed well before the lava explosions in Grindavik, but still had time to explore other geothermal and cultural adventures and look forward to next year.
