2025 USASA Region I Champions: Rochester Lazers

Congratulations to the Rochester Lazers for capturing the USASA Region I title for the third year in a row.

The Lazers defeated Garden City FC 2-nil on Saturday to set up a rematch of last year's two top women's teams:  Sidekicks vs Rochester Lazers. (Sidekicks also took care of business on Saturday defeating Garden City 3-0.)

In this year's final, it was Rochester that hopped out to an early lead with goals scored in the 6th minute by Taylor Wingerden and nineth minute by Caitlyn Nelson.

Taylor finished the game with a brace adding a third Lazer goal in the seventeenth minute.

No more goals were allowed for the remainder of the game, as the Lazers held on to three-peat as the USASA Region I Amateur Cup Champions.

The Lazers advance to the National Final Four on July 25-26 in Milwaukie Wisconsin.  We wish them the best of luck and hope they can bring home gold for Region I!

Thank you to Sidekicks and Garden City for repping Massachusetts!
