Massachusetts Adult Soccer

Mass Soccer launched a small sided league this summer in conjunction with the BSSL. The Mass Soccer Sevens organized its first 6 game session at the new Boston Scores Field which ran from July 8th - August 12th.

There were two brackets of 6 teams each.  After 5 games, our teams crossed brackets and played the equivalent team in the opposite bracket.

In our first place face off, it was Atletico Boston that just edged out CD Faialense with a score of 2-1 and earned bragging rights of Champion of the inaugural Sevens Season.

In our 3rd place playoff spot, Loco Gunners defeated the 91st Minutemen.

From our Seven's founder, Jack Fells.. "Thank you to all teams for participating and for being quality and respectful participants in the first season of Mass Soccer Sevens. Every league will have a hiccup or two, but you guys kept the league running smoothly."

HUGE thanks to Jack for organizing and driving this league into existence.  We look forward to our next session and expansion to women's and co-ed playing opportunities next!
