Doughboy Donuts take title from three-time defending champions

For the first time in three years Soccerholics will not lift the Old Colony Women's Soccer League (OCWSL) Summer Championship trophy. Doughboy Donuts defeated Abington Depot 4-1 in the final to take home the 2018 title. Doughboy Donuts lead the league with a 11-0-3 record going in the playoffs while Abington Depot were victorious over the three-time defending champions Soccerholics in the semifinals.

The Old Colony Women's Soccer League was established 20+ years ago. This South Shore league currently plays in the towns of Braintree, Hingham, and Weymouth

OCWSL End of the Year Banquet

Each summer OCWSL celebrates the end of an exciting season with a banquet.  This summer they also honored and thanked long time assigner, John Burns.

John has been with the league since it’s inception and he continues to be a huge help making the league successful and run smoothly. They recognized his dedication and gifted him with a chair because he always brings a small folding chair when he comes to watch games.

On behalf of the women at OCWLS and Mass Soccer...  Thank you for all you do to promote soccer in our community and state, John!!
