Massachusetts Adult Soccer

In our second semifinal match, Broadway Gunners hosted Safira at Rotch Field under the lights. Both teams traded goals to start the match and the game remained tied through halftime. In the 60th minute, Safira scored on a counter, as seen here: Safira's 2nd Goal

Safira, playing with no subs, began to tire. Gunners continued to pressure Safira and in the final minutes of the game scored on a corner to force over time. Click here to see Gunner's Corner Goal.

Neither team scored in the extra time, the match then headed to PKs. Safira won the coin toss and elected to defend first.  Safira's goalie made a beautiful diving save to set the tone of PKs, as seen here: Gunner's First PK

Safira outscored the Gunners in PKs with a score of 3-1 to advance to the qualifier final where they will face Brockon in a rematch of their USOC match earlier this fall. Game information will be announced soon.
