Champions Cup Game 2: Auburn FC vs Providence City
The second quarterfinal game of the day featured the CMO35 league champions, Auburn FC and FA1's Providence City. It was a battle featuring the wisdom and experience of our O35 soccer veterans challenging the youth and speed of the Providence City Club. Auburn held Providence City scoreless with great defensive play and stellar goal keeping until the 33 minute of the match, when Providence City was able to finish on their first goal of the day. Providence City demonstrated great passing and patience on the pitch and soon took over the game. They will move on to face Mosteiros in the semifinal match next Saturday at 10am at Danehy Park.
