10/27/22 - In an exciting semifinal match... Needham United fought back from a two goal deficit to force this match to PKs after scoring a PK to equalize with 10 seconds left in stoppage.  Broadway advances with a 5-4 KFTS victory. This is the 5th year in a row that Broadway, aka, Battery Park, aka Warehouse Gunners has punched a ticket to the state finals.

11/1/22 - Another great match up on the field! Safira's Joao Bosco Costa scored two goals early (7' &22') to give Safira the early lead. However, in the 37' minute WAC's veteran striker, Said Choukri, netted one keeping WAC in contention and letting Safira know that they weren't going away!

Early in the second half, WAC keeper Yassine Smissame made several brilliant saves.  In the 70' Joao struck again to put Safira up 3-1. In the 78' WAC scored again to pull within a goal of Safira. 79' WAC was awarded a PK, which Yassine turned away. WAC supports went wild!

80-82' Safira pressure led to two quick goals and the score remained 5-2 for the remainder of the game.  

Safira will face Broadway Gunners in the state championship on Saturday, November 4th, 12:30pm at Union Point Sports Complex on Field 1.
