Safira vs Lansdowne Bhoys of ENY: 0-2

Both goals of the game were scored early in the match off set pieces by the Lansdowne Bhoyes. In the 4 ' the Bhoys converted a free kick with a cross net header to with a second header finish. Then in 25', added a second off a corner kick.

Safira settled in, successfully holding Lansdowne scoreless the remainder of the first half.  Safira started the second half with a sense of urgency, often pressing with four players attacking high. This lead to an early second half Free Kick Opportunity  and several crossbar/post shots as seen here in the 25' Crossbar shot.

Key saves by the Bhoys keeper, including a diving PK save, kept Safira off the board.

It was a game well played by both teams. The Lansdowne Bhoys will advance to the quarterfinals where they will host FC Motown (NJ).
