Referee Assignment Policy
Assignment of Match Officials Policy
1. Competitions played under the auspices of Mass Soccer shall use only certified referees as per USSF Policy 531-8 and shall comply with all other USSF policies relating to match officials.
2. The competition authorities shall take reasonable measures to ensure that all match referees and referee assignors are reimbursed promptly following a match. Mass Soccer leagues and competitions shall not be liable to reimburse and/or pay any fees for referees assigned to their games who are not currently registered with the United States Soccer Federation.
